For mobility aid users:
- My home is on the ground floor. The driveway is steep and can be a bit of a challenge, but there are no stairs into or inside my space.
- There is a small ramp making it possible to drive a wheelchair in through my front door and park it securely in the front hallway.
- I have narrow hallways and as a result it would likely be quite difficult to maneuver a wheelchair into the main seating area. A manual wheelchair may be doable depending on size.
- I also have some covered outdoor seating if this is more accessible or preferable.
Sensory information:
- My overhead lighting is dimmable and I can adjust smaller lights as needed.
- Feel free to request music, silence, etc.
- I do not use scented candles or incense.
- Please note: I have three birds, at least one of whom will probably have very loud opinions about guests in my space. They're very friendly and social, and also have their own separate bedroom away from where lessons will take place, but they will likely be audible during daylight hours.
Other miscellaneous information:
- I have a guest wifi network that you are welcome to use!
- Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are always available during lessons.
- I have hardwood flooring, which can be cold and also a little hard on the feet. I have rugs in my living room / instruction space and also some house slippers for guest use if you would like.
