My base price for private lessons is $30 per hour of instruction.
Note that I do operate on a sliding scale basis - I would like lessons to be accessible regardless of financial barriers. I do not require proof of income; this is based on the honour system.
When scheduling lessons I like to open a conversation about costs and sustainability, especially if we are moving forward with ongoing instruction as opposed to a single lesson. I'm also always open to adjustments as needed depending on your situation!
I accept payment only via cash or e transfer at this time.

I am Cloverdale based (near the Brick Yard Station) and welcome students into my home for lessons. Click here for more information on accessibility in my space. - I can come to you!
Would you rather learn at home? Do you have access to a community space? I'm happy to travel (within reason). Please note that any location I travel to must be accessible by wheelchair as I require a mobility aid outside of my home. - Bonus round: Some secret third option?

I know that people have busy lives and varied schedules, and I am committed to remaining as flexible as possible with my working hours.
- Instruction hours
I tend to schedule lessons between the hours of 10 AM - 7 PM. I work weekdays, weekends, and most public holidays. If you have questions about these hours, or want to inquire about hours outside of this, don't hesitate to get in touch.
- Note: I currently have daytime obligations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, which will impact scheduling for now. This will change! - Short notice / emergency fixes
I may or may not be able to schedule same day lessons, pattern help, or emergency fixes (dropped a stitch? Yarn barf? Cable crossed the wrong way? I've got you!). There is no guarantee, but often I can work with you to figure something out. - Cancellation policy
I completely understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances and things happen that we can't control. My cancellation policy is extremely forgiving - as long as I have at least some notice, all is well!
For cancellations of prepaid lessons: Your payment is in good standing. I won't penalize you.
